George Marshman Bio

George Marshman is a Senior Managing Director at Pretium, where he focuses on client relationships. Mr. Marshman joined Pretium in 2017 as part of the acquisition of Valcour Capital Management where he was a co-founder and Managing Partner. Prior to Valcour, Mr. Marshman was co-founder and Chief Investment Officer for Aladdin Capital Management LLC where he was responsible for portfolio management of over $4 billion in bank loan securitizations and over $1 billion in other structured product assets. He was previously a Vice President and corporate bond trader at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at Lehman Brothers. Mr. Marshman began his career at Orion Consultants. Mr. Marshman is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He received his BA from Yale University.
