Evan Caplan Bio

Evan Caplan, M.D. is a Principal on the Private Equity team. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Dr. Caplan worked at J.P. Morgan in the Healthcare Investment Banking group. Previously, Dr. Caplan conducted research on the regulation of stem cell renewal and oncogenesis at the Boston Children's Hospital funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Dr. Caplan received his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, his M.B.A from Harvard Business School and his B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.
