Richard Young Bio

Mr. Young is a managing director focused on the development of the UK, Ireland and Swiss-based intermediary business. Mr. Young joined Oaktree in 2019 from T. Rowe Price, where he was most recently a vice president and relationship manager responsible for the development of the firm’s intermediary business in the UK and Ireland. Clients included global financial intermediaries, wealth managers, family offices and multi manager / fund of funds. Mr. Young was also responsible for the firm’s institutional business in Israel. Prior thereto, he was with Goldman Sachs, more recently as a middle office analyst for FX, emerging markets and prime brokerage. Mr. Young received a B.Sc. in management science from Loughborough University, has completed the Certificate in Investment Management (IMC) and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
