Pearl Chang Bio

Prior to joining Oaktree in 2017, Ms. Chang was a portfolio manager at Google Inc. for about five years. There, she established the company’s first internal credit portfolio, served as head of credit research, and managed the internal portfolio. Prior thereto, Ms. Chang was a managing director in Fixed Income Research at Charles Schwab Investment Management. Additional investment research and management experience includes serving in senior analyst roles at SCM Advisors LLC (formerly Seneca Capital Management LLC), CreditSights Inc., Deutsche Bank AG, and Lehman Brothers Inc. She began her career as a financial analyst in the mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Chang holds a B.A. degree magna cum laude in English from Princeton University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Chang also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
