Lun Nie Bio

Mr. Nie is a vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He currently serves on the board of COL Giovanni Paolo and is a board observer of CEBAT. Mr. Nie previously served as a board observer of MWH Treatment. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2019, he was an investment associate at Blue Water Energy LLP. Previously, he was an M&A analyst at Lazard in the industrials team. Mr. Nie received an M.Sc. in financial economics from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc. in management (finance and accounting) from the University of Manchester, where he was on the Dean’s List. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
