Guillaume Bayol Bio

Mr. Bayol is a managing director and investment professional in Oaktree’s European Principal Group. Additionally, he serves as co-portfolio manager of Fleetscape, the strategy’s maritime lending platform. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Bayol spent two years as an analyst in the Investment Banking division at Merrill Lynch, gaining experience in corporate finance and restructuring. Prior experience includes internships at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in Hong Kong and Barclays Private Equity in France. Mr. Bayol received a B.B.A. degree with a major in finance from ESSEC Business School in France. He is fluent in French, Spanish and Italian.
