Kasim Kutay Bio

Kasim Kutay is Chief Executive Officer of Novo Holdings A/S, Denmark, a position he has held since September 1, 2016. Kasim Kutay is member of the board of Novo Nordisk A/S, Denmark, of Novozymes A/S, Denmark, of Evotec SE, Germany and of the Life Sciences Advisory Board of Gimv NV, Belgium. From 2009 to 2016 Kasim Kutay was managing director, co-head of Europe and member of the Global Management Committee of Moelis & Co., UK. From 1989 to 2007 Mr Kutay held a number of positions at Morgan Stanley, UK, including chair of the European Healthcare Group. Mr Kutay was member of the Board of Trustees of Northwick Park Institute for Medical Research, UK, from 2005 to 2016. Mr Kutay was member of the Board of Governors from 2006 to 2011 and the Investment Committee from 2011 to 2016 of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), UK. Kasim Kutay is a UK national and holds a MSc. and BSc. in Economics from the LSE (London School of Economics and Political Science).
