Stephen Foote Bio

Stephen is responsible for business development activities at Northleaf, working closely with existing and prospective investors and investment consultants to design, develop and monitor their private markets portfolios. Prior to joining Northleaf in 2010, Stephen was an Executive Director at UBS Global Asset Management where he was responsible for marketing a global product platform to institutional investors, including both traditional and alternative asset class offerings and services. Previously, Stephen was Vice President, Global Head of Marketing, at Northwater Capital Management Inc. where he headed the firm’s marketing, sales and client services activities globally with a focus on alternative investment solutions. Stephen began his career as a consultant at Mercer where he was responsible for delivering a broad range of investment consulting services to pension plans. Stephen received a B.A. (Honours) from York University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
