Kamal Mahant Bio

Kamal is responsible for the accounting and controllership functions of Northleaf's corporate entities, including corporate accounting, consolidated financial reporting and tax compliance. Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor, TD Capital Private Equity Investors, in 2009, Kamal was Assistant Vice President, Finance at IA Clarington Investments, a publicly traded investment management firm, where he was responsible for all corporate and management reporting. Previously, he was Corporate Controller at Altamira Investment Services Inc. Kamal began his career at Peat Marwick Thorne. Kamal received a Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University and holds the Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
