Prakash Bagla Bio

Prakash joined MOPE in 2007. At MOPE, Prakash is responsible for deal sourcing, investing, monitoring and managing the exit from portfolio companies. Prakash is responsible for Industrials and Manufacturing businesses and he represents the Existing Funds on the boards of ElectroMech, Magicrete, IMP Powers and Glass Wall. Prakash has over 15 years of diverse experience in consumer facing business (Emami) and Mining & Oil business (Aditya Birla Group). He worked in diverse roles including sourcing, supply chain and cost controls, operating role to set up systems and processes, entry strategy for new businesses and sale of existing businesses. Prakash holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Calcutta University and is a Chartered Accountant.
