Sid Li Bio

Sid Li is a Vice President at McNally Capital, where he focuses on evaluating and executing direct private equity investments and supporting portfolio companies. Prior to joining McNally Capital, Sid was a Vice President at 777 Partners, a Miami-based private equity investment firm, as well as co-founder of TRENDI, a web and mobile platform startup that helps entertainment and fashion freelancers source and secure contract jobs. Prior to TRENDI, he was a private equity associate at Comvest Partners, a middle market private equity fund based in West Palm Beach, FL. Prior to Comvest Partners, he was an investment banking analyst in the Restructuring & Recapitalization Group at Jefferies in New York. Sid began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group at Morgan Joseph TriArtisan in Atlanta. His experience includes M&A, equity and debt financings, and financial restructurings across industries. Sid received a BSBA in Finance and a second major in Economics from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside the office, Sid is an avid fan in basketball and motorsports where he actively follows college and NBA basketball, Formula One, and IndyCar. Sid is also a trained vocalist where he auditioned for early rounds of The Voice and America’s Got Talent several years ago.
