Jonathan Van Gorp Bio

Jonathan Van Gorp, a Managing Director, is responsible for leading portfolio management and partner selection across Makena’s Real Assets investments. In addition to his duties overseeing real assets investments, Jonathan co-leads the firms sustainability efforts as they relate to investment diligence and oversight. Prior to joining Makena, Jonathan was a Vice President at Paxion Capital, a Bay Area family office, where he oversaw the buildout of the real assets portfolio. Previously, Jonathan was a Director at the Stanford Management Company, overseeing domestic and international real asset investments. Jonathan began his career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Jonathan received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia.
