Shimon Edelstein Bio

Mr. Edelstein joined LS Power in 2011 and serves as Head of Tax, overseeing tax planning and reporting functions across the Firm. Prior LS Power, Mr. Edelstein was a Managing Director and tax attorney at Fortress Investment Group. Previously, he was a tax associate at the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and began his legal career as a federal law clerk to Judge Edward R. Korman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Edelstein received a B.S. in Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, from Touro College and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was on the editorial staff of the Brooklyn Law Review.
