Ferdinando Grimaldi Bio

Prior to founding L-GAM, Mr. Grimaldi was Managing Director at Bain Capital in London. Between 2002 and 2008 he helped establish the firm as one of the leading private equity players in Europe. Previously, Mr. Grimaldi was at Investcorp in London, having joined as a Principal in 1996 to become a member of the Management Committee in 2000. Prior to joining Investcorp, Mr Grimaldi was a Principal at Chase Capital Partners and its predecessor Chemical Venture Partners. Mr. Grimaldi started his career as a fixed income trader and in leveraged lending at Banco di Roma and Manufacturers Hanover Trust. He is an Italian national and holds a University Degree in Economics from Bocconi University and an M.B.A. from Insead.
