Matt Levenson Bio

Mr. Levenson is a founding member of Kian Capital and is active in all aspects of the firm’s investment origination, structuring, diligence, and portfolio monitoring efforts. Prior to Kian Capital, Mr. Levenson was a Vice President with Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for the origination and execution of senior loans to lower middle-market companies. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Levenson was a Vice President with Wachovia Securities’ Middle Market Capital Group where he was responsible for the origination, execution, and portfolio management of leveraged senior debt transactions, primarily for lower middle-market companies. Mr. Levenson also worked in the Credit Resolution Group where he managed a portfolio of distressed borrowers. Prior to Wachovia Securities, Mr. Levenson was an Associate with Edgeview Partners, a leading middle-market M&A firm focused on serving family-owned and financial sponsor-owned businesses. Mr. Levenson holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
