Sanjeev Aga Bio

Sanjeev has had a distinguished 40-year business career, capped by his role as the Managing Director of Idea Cellular, one of India’s reputed and leading corporates. He has earlier been Managing Director of Aditya Birla Nuvo with multi-business responsibility, of the erstwhile BlowPlast with the VIP Luggage business, and the Chief Executive Officer of Mattel Toys India. Under his leadership in just four years, Idea Cellular advanced from the No. 6 to No. 3 position in the fiercely competitive telecom sector, creating billions of dollars of shareholder value. Sanjeev is an Honors graduate in Physics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
