Jaime Prieto Bio

Jaime is a Founding Partner of Kartesia. In his role, Jaime is responsible for overseeing the management and development of the company, more particularly in relation to sourcing and trading. When founding Kartesia in 2013, Jaime had over 10 years of experience in private equity finance and strategy. Before founding Kartesia, Jaime co-founded the Altercap funds at LBO France, which successfully raised and invested €500 million in corporate credit opportunities since 2009. Prior to joining LBO France, Jaime worked at the Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), structuring mezzanine investments across Europe and launching the Minority Partners group, and at McKinsey & Co advising private equity and corporate clients in M&A transactions in Spain and France. Jaime holds a BS from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
