Patrick Cohn Bio

Mr. Cohn has recently joined from Encore Permian, a private-equity sponsored E&P company based in Midland. After successfully raising $200MM of equity for Encore, Mr. Cohn was promoted to CFO where he led the company’s acquisition underwriting and financial due diligence. Prior to Encore, Mr. Cohn worked alongside Mr. Windholz at Atinum Energy Investments, helping evaluate new E&P opportunities and overseeing the firms three upstream investment vehicles. Prior to Atinum, Mr. Cohn founded Blue Bird Partners where he provided analytical and transaction support to investment professional and small business owners. Mr. Cohn began his career at Jefferies & Co. Energy practice, helping facilitate capital raising and A&D efforts for the investment bank. Patrick holds a B.S. in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta.
