Eoghan Hickey Bio

As Principal & Head of Research at Jolt Capital, Eoghan Hickey is coordinating & leading the numerous analyses across markets, segments & specific companies, while also playing a key role throughout Jolt Capital’s investments from deal origination to transaction implementation. Prior to Jolt, Eoghan was a professional sportsperson (rugby) for over a decade, competing throughout Ireland, UK, Italy & France. Other experience during this time includes working with a Renewable Energy Development company, consulting to a Medical Device Start-up and also contributing articles for several media outlets. With a broad academic background, Eoghan graduated from HEC Paris with an MBA Entrepreneurship & Finance, and also with Certificates in both Advanced Management and Mergers & Acquisitions. In addition, Eoghan also holds an MSc Climate Change & Sustainability from Brunel University London, and both a BSc Statistics and a Business Diploma from University College Dublin.
