Sid Sapru Bio

Sid joined Insight Partners in 2021. Prior to joining Insight, Sid was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised public and private companies on strategy, operations, and M&A. He focused on the technology, media, and healthcare industries, and additionally spent time in Bain’s industry-leading private equity due diligence practice. In addition, Sid worked in product management at Quizlet, an early-stage education technology company, where he helped launch a new premium content marketplace business. He has also spent time in the public sector at the World Bank, the Chicago Mayor’s Office, and a state government’s COVID-19 command center. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Sid received an MBA from Stanford University, an MPA from Harvard University, and a BA from Vanderbilt University summa cum laude. He served on Vanderbilt’s Board of Trustees from 2014 to 2018.
