Molly McCarthy Bio

Molly joined Insight in 2019 as Vice President and Chief of Staff for Deven Parekh. She focuses on process optimization, external engagement, and strategic projects spanning all areas of the firm. Prior to joining Insight, Molly was Chief of Staff for the NYC Economic Development Corporation’s Asset Management division. She’s also a recovering politico and spent 9 years on Capitol Hill before moving to New York, including 7 years covering commerce, trade, and research funding and policy for the Senate Appropriations Committee. She is a two-time University of Virginia graduate with a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a B.A. with distinction in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law and Foreign Affairs. In her free time, Molly is typically juggling a dozen books, making friends with strangers' dogs, and trying to see everything on Broadway.
