Matt Koran Bio

Matt joined Insight in 2016 and is currently a Vice President on the investment team. He focuses on high-growth software businesses particularly in DevOps, big data, IT automation, and cybersecurity. Matt graduated from Harvard University with a AB in Economics. During his time there, Matt played linebacker on the football team and served as Harvard's 142nd team captain. Matt also acted as director for Crimson in the Community, a community service initiative that organized and ran blood drives, mentorship programs, bone marrow drives, and sports clinics for children with special needs. Outside of work, Matt is an avid sports fan (Go Cubbies!), is learning to perfect the handstand and enjoys all things outdoors.
