Philip Cothern Bio

Mr. Cothern is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2016, Mr. Cothern was a Director at Intermediate Capital Group (“ICG”), where he was responsible for senior client relationships as well as building out the North American fundraising platform. Prior to joining ICG in 2011, Mr. Cothern served as a Director at European Credit Management Ltd. Previously, Mr. Cothern worked in Credit Sales for both Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Cothern holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the DePaul Graduate School of Business.
