Peter Calabro Bio

Mr. Calabro is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2015, Mr. Calabro served as the Head of Europe for Fir Tree Partners, where he was responsible for managing all aspects of the Firm’s European business. Prior to joining Fir Tree, Mr. Calabro was the Head of Sourcing / Origination at Mount Kellett Capital and the European Special Situations Group at Goldman Sachs. In this capacity, Mr. Calabro led a multi-strategy origination effort, ranging from senior secured debt and mezzanine finance through to non-performing loan portfolios and value-add real estate. Mr. Calabro began his career in Mergers and Acquisitions / Leveraged Finance and held positions at CIBC World Markets and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Calabro holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan.
