Mr. Chng is an Executive Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2018, Mr. Chng was a Senior High-Yield Credit Analyst at Legal & General Investment Management, where he focused on investing in Asia ex-Japan high yield credits. Prior to Legal & General, Mr. Chng was a Senior Credit Analyst at Western Asset Management based in Singapore. Prior to Western, Mr. Chng held roles at Standard Chartered Bank, Clearwater Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, CFC Securities Limited, and Columbia Management. Mr. Chng holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Kentucky.
