Joseph Tansey Bio

Mr. Tansey is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2021, Mr. Tansey co-founded Garrison Investment Group and served as the Chief Investment Officer of Garrison’s funds. Prior to Garrison, Mr. Tansey was a Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group and a Partner of the Drawbridge Special Opportunity Fund, where he was primarily responsible for investment underwriting and structuring. Prior to Fortress, Mr. Tansey was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Tansey was an Analyst at Starwood Capital Group. Mr. Tansey holds a BA in Urban Studies and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
