Mr. Matern is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2013, Mr. Matern worked as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group at JPMorgan. Mr. Matern completed his undergraduate business education in Europe at the WU Vienna, ESADE and University of St. Gallen, and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a major in Finance.
