Guy Semmens Bio

Until 2018, Guy was managing partner of Argos Soditic, a mid-market European buy-out firm based in Geneva, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt and Milan. Guy joined Argos in 1996 and was head of the Swiss operations, as well as having overall responsibility for the management, fund raising, investor relations and back office of the firm. During his time as head of funds, Guy raised four funds with commitments of approx. €1.5 billion. Before joining Argos Soditic, Guy was a solicitor with Clifford Chance, the international law firm, where he was part of the firm's management buy-out group. Guy is based in Geneva, Switzerland and holds a degree in law from Durham University and is a qualified solicitor in the U.K.
