Pankaj Sood Bio

Pankaj Sood heads the Private Equity (Direct Investments) business for GIC in India and Africa. Pankaj joined GIC in 2010 and is based in Mumbai. He has over two decades of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions transactions in India. Prior to GIC, Pankaj was an investment banker in India at Kotak Investment Bank, Ernst & Young, and SBI Capital Markets. Pankaj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
