John Ross Bio

John Ross is a Vice President at Gemspring Capital. Prior to joining Gemspring, John was with Black Diamond Capital Management, a $9 billion alternative asset management firm where he focused on the evaluation and execution of distressed private equity investments and was deeply involved in the turnaround of companies post-acquisition. Prior to Black Diamond, John was an Associate at Irving Place Capital Management, a middle market private equity firm, where he was responsible for the analysis of new investment opportunities, due diligence, and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. John began his career as an investment banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he focused on the execution of M&A transactions across a broad range of industries and geographies. John serves on the board of Cforia.
