Jonathan Fairbanks Bio

Jonathan B. Fairbanks is the Founder & Managing Partner of GEC. Previously, Mr. Fairbanks was a Founder and Director of the following public companies: Seajacks International, Scorpion Offshore, Floatel International, Chiles Offshore, and Hercules Offshore. He also served on the boards of Ringers Technologies and Premium Oilfield Technologies of Houston, GustoMSC in Amsterdam, and Forum Energy Technologies, an NYSE listed company. Mr. Fairbanks chairs the board of IDEA Public Schools of Houston, serves as a trustee of the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C., and is a member of YPO Gold. He received a B.A. degree in political science from Denison University and also read European history at St. Peter’s College, Oxford University.
