Michael Kreger Bio

Michael Kreger is a Partner of Gamut, responsible for all aspects of leading an investment, and serves as Sector Lead of Automotive, Mining, Paper/Packaging, Business Services and TMT. Prior to joining Gamut, Mr. Kreger was a Senior Vice President at Oaktree Capital Management, where he focused on distressed debt investments. Previously, Mr. Kreger was a Director at Madison Dearborn Partners, where he focused on private equity investments. Earlier in his career, he worked at UBS in its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Kreger currently serves on the boards of directors of PaperWorks Industries, IAC Group, Grede and Davis-Standard. Previously, he served as a director on the boards of companies including Aleris International, Bway Corp, Chassix Holdings, Multi Packaging Solutions, Schrader International and Tribune Media. Mr. Kreger graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Economics and Political Science and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
