Guy Sochovsky Bio

Guy co-founded Farview Equity Partners in 2019. Guy began his career as a technology investor before moving into a series of executive roles as chief financial officer. He has enjoyed a particular focus on tech-enabled service businesses and more recently SaaS software platforms. In his capacity as chief financial officer at both MACH and NewVoiceMedia, Guy worked as part of the respective leadership teams to deliver substantial change, securing both growth and efficiency objectives. Both MACH and NewVoiceMedia were headquartered in Europe with global operating footprints and were sold to US-based strategic acquirors. Prior to his roles as a company executive, Guy spent 10 years at Warburg Pincus looking at technology related investment opportunities across Europe. He was involved with various portfolio situations including as a Board member of WNS (NYSE:WNS), MACH and Loyalty Management Group. ​ Guy started his career in the Communications, Media & Technology investment banking team at Goldman Sachs in London, and he has lived and worked in the UK, Continental Europe and most recently in the United States out of San Francisco. ​ Guy really enjoys getting to understand the broader strategy and operational set up of the businesses he is involved with. Thinking through not only the financial, but also the market-facing, technical, process and people elements that are so important to build success and ensure effective growth. If there are added complications like long-distance communication and cultural exchange involved as well, so much the better … Guy received a BA in Modern History from Oxford University. ​ Outside of work, Guy is happiest when found on his bike or in some water, ideally exploring the cycling routes around the Brecon Beacons or the beaches of the Gower Peninsula with the active participation of his wife and three children.
