Salman Ashraf Bio

Salman Ashraf is an International Director at Fajr Capital and the Head of Treasury and Markets at Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam. He is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Islamic Treasury and Global Markets expert with over 24 years of experience working in the MENA, Central Asia and Far Eastern regions with top tier institutions such as Standard Chartered, HSBC Amanah, ABC and latterly as the Global Head of Islamic Distribution at Deutsche Bank. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a PGD is Systems Analysis and is a member of the CFA Institute.
