Peter Roughton Bio

Peter Roughton is General Counsel at Equitix and heads up the legal and compliance functions. Peter began his legal career in 2001 at Freshfields and has worked within the infrastructure sector since 2006. He has over 20 years of legal experience and has been involved in a multitude of transactions in the infrastructure sector. He has a broad range of experience acting as a key internal stakeholder on legal, regulatory and compliance issues across a number of areas including acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management, fund structuring and fund raising. Peter is a solicitor and holds an MA in Law from the University of Cambridge, Selwyn College.
