Jonathan Pollock Bio

Jonathan Pollock is an Equity Partner, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Co-Chief Investment Officer, Chief Trading Officer, and member of the Management, Risk, Valuation, Compliance and Operational Risk, and Allocation Committees at Elliott Management Corporation. Mr. Pollock is responsible for global situational investing, global trading, and operations. Mr. Pollock joined Elliott in 1989 as an Analyst, later becoming a Senior Portfolio Manager. In 1995, he opened Elliott’s London office and for the next 14 years led the firm’s European and Asian businesses, opening additional offices in both Hong Kong and Tokyo. In 2009, Mr. Pollock returned to New York to become Head of Global Situational Investing and was promoted to Co-Chief Investment Officer in 2011 and Co-Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Prior to joining Elliott, Mr. Pollock was an Analyst at E.F. Hutton and, later, Greenleaf Partners. Mr. Pollock received a B.A. in Management, with a minor in English, from Curry College.
