Mr. Hayden is a Managing Director and leads EIG’s Direct Lending investment activities in Europe across oil & gas, power, renewables and infrastructure. Prior to joining EIG in 2009, Mr. Hayden was a Vice President in Citi’s Infrastructure & Energy Finance team where he specialized in project finance in the EMEA region. Mr. Hayden has also worked as an Associate Consultant for Strategic Decisions Group providing investment advice and risk analysis to energy companies worldwide. He holds an M.A. in Geography from Oxford University and an MPhil in Economics from Cambridge University.
