Pinal Parekh Bio

Mr. Parekh is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for managing the financial functions of the firm including overseeing activities related to corporate and fund accounting, treasury and cash management, financial planning and reporting, tax reporting, and operational due diligence while also playing a vital role in the firm’s strategic initiatives. Prior to joining EIG in 2016, Mr. Parekh served as a Vice President and Segment Controller at American Capital, where he held various roles and was responsible for a variety of financial management and reporting functions, including controllership of all private equity buyout funds, CLO funds and a publicly traded floating rate BDC. He also played an active role in accounting and financial due diligence for new investments and portfolio company add-on acquisitions. Prior to his time at American Capital, Mr. Parekh spent 8 years at Marriot International, Inc. rising to the level of Director within the accounting operations. Mr. Parekh holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in financial accounting and auditing from the University of Mumbai, India. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Delaware and a Chartered Accountant from India.
