Matthew Fox Bio

Mr. Fox is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of EIG. He is a member of EIG’s Executive Committee. He has primary responsibility for the operations and administration of the Firm. Before joining EIG in 2014, Mr. Fox was associated with Covington & Burling LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Mr. Fox holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in History from Columbia University and a J.D., with distinction, from Stanford Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review.
