Paul Winters Bio

Paul Winters is a Partner and Denham’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He brings over 25 years of experience to the firm. As General Counsel, Paul is responsible for all legal matters affecting Denham, its funds and its portfolio companies. He is a member of the Valuation Committee. Paul speaks Spanish and some German. Prior to joining Denham, he was an attorney in the Project Development and Finance Group of Latham & Watkins LLP, specializing in international power project development and financing, and an analyst responsible for constructing financial models of mining companies and other projects for The Winters Company. Paul is a past director of Wide Horizons for Children, a Boston-based adoption and child welfare agency. Paul received a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Georgetown University, where he served as a notes editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
