Omar Mahmoud Bio

Prior to joining Creador, Omar was the Managing Director and Country Head of Global Banking at HSBC Malaysia. During his 15 years at the bank, he worked in roles covering Hong Kong, Japan and Korea, in addition to Scandinavia, the UK and Ireland. He also spent 3 years working in HSBC’s Specialised Finance department in London, structuring debt finance transactions for Private Equity buyouts across Europe. Omar is a qualified barrister, called to the bar at the Inner Temple, London. He also has two degrees: One in Law from the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, and one in Finance from the University of Manchester.
