Chris Boyle Bio

Chris Boyle is a Founding Partner of Charger. Previously, Mr. Boyle was a Partner at American Industrial Partners. Prior to this, Mr. Boyle was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Guggenheim Partners, where he led investments in workouts and stressed / distressed credit investments, restructurings and the development of the firm’s corporate opportunity fund. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Boyle was a Senior Managing Director and Opportunity Fund Portfolio Manager at Black Diamond Capital Management, where he worked for 9 years. Mr. Boyle also spent eight years as a Managing Director at The Blackstone Group, where he focused on restructurings and reorganizations. He began his career at Bear Stearns. Mr. Boyle graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Virginia.
