Peter Ballon Bio

Peter is responsible for our global real estate portfolio, which is diversified across twenty global markets and currently exceeds C$50 Billion. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2007, Peter worked with several leading real estate companies, including Canderel, Brookfield and TrizecHahn. Peter holds a BComm from McGill University and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University; and has been granted the ICD.D designation by the Institute of Corporate Directors. He is on the board of Brazilian public company Aliansce Sonae, a member of Global Board of Directors of the Urban Land Institute and is a Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
