Kristopher Weiner Bio

Kris is responsible for EPM’s global public market co-investments. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2018, Kris was a Managing Director in Blackstone’s special situations investing group looking at a wide range of equity, credit and other investments. Previously, he was a portfolio manager and sector head at Waterfront Capital running a diversified consumer portfolio. Before that, Kris was part of the founding team and director of research at Avesta Capital which he started with colleagues from Moore Capital. He began his career at Putnam Investments, working on the Large Cap Growth investment team. Kris holds a BA in History (cum laude) from Yale University.
