Freda Colbourne Bio

Freda leads the Corporate Affairs group overseeing activities to build CPP Investments’ global brand internally and externally, including thought leadership, CPP Investments Insights Institute, and employee engagement. Prior to joining CPP Investments in 2021, Freda led her own communications consultancy for more than a decade and previously ran the Canadian operations of a large international communications firm. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and completed the corporate director program at University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. Freda serves on several charitable boards, including the MLSE Foundation and is Chair of the MLSE Launchpad.
