Martin Alston Bio

Marty Alston is Managing Director of Capital Markets for Brennan Investment Group. He is responsible for institutional debt and equity capital solutions across the platform. Mr. Alston has extensive capital raising experience across a variety of strategies, structures, and platforms including advisory, private equity, operator, fiduciary, and lending. He has been engaged in over $15 billion of aggregate capital raises over the past 20 years. Prior to joining Brennan Investment Group, Mr. Alston served as Senior Vice President, Distribution at Threadmark, a global advisory firm raising capital for real estate, infrastructure, credit and private equity mandates. He previously held a senior capital raising position with Bentall Kennedy, was Managing Director and Principal of Fifield Companies, and a Partner with Capri Capital. Mr. Alston began his career at The Northern Trust Company, a global investment management and banking institution. Mr. Alston received a Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
