Mandar Kulkarni Bio

Mandar joined Blue Water Energy in April 2017 as Chief Financial Officer. Mandar is responsible for the finance function and overseeing the firm’s financial affairs, his remit includes the Funds and investment manager operations, Investor Relations, Compliance, Fund and deal structuring, portfolio and investor reporting, financial planning, treasury and tax. Mandar has over 11 years of Private Equity experience. Before joining Blue Water Energy, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Finance for Bain Capital Private Equity’s European operations. Prior to Bain Capital, Mandar worked in multiple financial roles at Cargill Inc. and Ernst & Young, both in Europe and Asia. Mandar holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He holds a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Mumbai.
