Michael Carruthers Bio

Mike Carruthers is a Senior Managing Director in Blackstone Credit (“BXC”), and is involved in sourcing, researching, structuring and managing investments across various target sectors. Mr. Carruthers is based in Toronto, Canada, having relocated from BXC’s London office to lead BXC’s efforts in the Midwest and Canada. Mr. Carruthers joined BXC, then known as GSO Capital Partners, in 2006. Prior to joining BXC, he worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse. Mr. Carruthers graduated with Honors in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
