Ford began his career as a Business Analyst with McKinsey & Company in their San Francisco office. During his tenure at McKinsey, he primarily served private equity firms and large corporate clients on strategic issues and acquisitions. He joined his family’s business, Schumacher Capital in May of 2012, helping to acquire and integrate Heritage Sportswear and Virginia T’s, while pursuing new investment opportunities. During his time there, he participated in the acquisition of four companies in the sportswear and niche manufacturing industries. Ford graduated from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. He spent his junior year at the London School of Economics and completed his MBA at Harvard Business School. He loves to travel, debate ideas, and spend time with his family.
