Karim Ibrik Bio

Karim is the Chief Technology Officer of H Cycle, LLC - an Azimuth portfolio company that deploys proven waste gasification technology to produce low-cost, low-carbon hydrogen for industrial and retail customers. Prior to joining Azimuth Capital Management, Karim worked with Shell in a number of engineering and technical management roles, with a focus on gasification and gas-to-liquids. During his time at Shell, Karim gained hands-on operational experience having led numerous investigations and major crisis recovery efforts.  Karim holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and is currently pursuing an MBA/MS in Energy & Resources from Stanford University. While at Stanford, Karim was a founding team member of a student-led start-up (hydrogen production technology).
